Hans Wegner Carl Hansen Denmark CH07 Shell Lounge Chairs Lacquered Oak 2x AvailListed for sale is a pair of (sold separately) CH07 shell chairs in lacquered oak with wool fabric seats, designed by Hans Wegner and crafted by Carl Hansen and Sons in Denmark. Condition overall is excellent, as the chairs are only a handful of years old. They are fully marked and labelled. These examples came from a well known marketing and advertising agency in New York. The pieces are in terrific condition overall with some light signs of use.
The piece dates to between 1959 and 1965
which included numerous rolling carts
They are constructed from tubular stainless steel material
The top shows some wear and light scratches from use as noted in the photos
This example has a matching 4-drawer
Very few original examples still exist
The sofa measures 95
The chairs measure 28 x 28 x 28
Listed for sale is a rare pair of Jens Risom Designs Inc walnut & tan laminate end/side tables
I will do my best to either look for nice examples or to touch up any minor dings if possible
especially those in condition as nice as this one
These came from an executive suite in a skyscraper in Manhattan
