2019 Red VelvetThis is the first appassimento style wine made from partially dried grapes. 67% of the blend is made from dried Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% from undried Malbec and 11% from undried Merlot grapes, all estate grapes. It was aged 24 months in French oak barrels. 15. 8% alc, 2. 5 gr lt residual Sugar, 800 bottles made. Every bottle is waxed on top and comes with a red velvet bag.

Brix-wise … from what looked like disaster at the end of August turned into beauty by end of September

Brooding dark in the glass with purple tones and generous extract

3% Malbec and 2% Petit Verdot

11% Cabernet Franc and 6% Malbec – then another year together and finally it rest 11 months in bottle before its final release to the public (it is also bottled unfined and unfiltered)
