Whispers of the Serpent God (BX)The man crawled from the fetid swamp and collapsed in the center of the river side village. He lay unconscious for days, wracked with fever and delirium. His clenched hand would not relinquish a peculiar jade idol of a serpent. Soon after beholding the figurine the villagers built a shrine devoted to the jade idol and god it must represent. The village is now in the clutch of this ancient and forgotten god. Whispers of the Serpent God is the prequel

But tragedy has struck and the groom is dead

and suspicion fill the keep

These rules are not required to play the adventure module (which is set for 4th-6th level characters)

The city guard will do nothing and she suspects foul play or possibly something even more sinister

A balance of character classes is suggested but no particular class is required
