The Evolis S10176 is an extension board that adds 2 SAM (Secure Access Module) slots to printers equipped with the Elyctis dual encoding module. SAM slots hold cryptographic keys used during contact and contactless smart card encoding. With additional slots, you can load multiple security keys simultaneously instead of swapping SAM
