The face of the talisman is taken from an ancient scarab stone which has been melted into wax and then cast using the process of sand casting giving an aged effect. The original seal was unearthed by a metal detectorist

Our sandcasted pieces start with melting 925 silver grain to a molten state which is then poured into a sandcast

This handcrafted silver ring is cast directly from an original 17th-century wax seal impression depicting a sailing ship — a symbol of adventure

Once the shape is formed it is then filled with molten silver and the pendant is formed
