Specimen Y2K $2000 Millennium BanknoteDesign The obverse design features a Y2K Overprint Domodomo Fiji Coat of Arms commemorative logo text whilst the reverse design features Sealife depicting the beauty of Fiji's natural environment and the 180 degrees Meridian line running through Udu Point, Rabi and Taveuni. Additional elements include a portrait of H. E Ratu Sir Kamisese Mara, an image of Fijis endemic kulawai (red throated lorikeet) and the Tagimoucia (Medinella waterhousei) flower.

The reverse of the banknote features a Culture & Heritage theme with depictions of the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva in 1914 and also features the Joske’s Thumb in the background
