The urn is made of heavy, durable metal with a decorative screw on top that you unscrew to insert the ashes. The chain is 24 inches long with a lobster clasp on the end. Very nice urn. It comes with a fill kit and directions. Very nice looking piece and will keep your loved ones that have passed close to your heart.
